The Two Session Solution Celebrates 15 Years as it Consolidates South Florida Locations

The Two Session Solution^SM, a local company dedicated to advanced therapies of the mind, has announced the consolidation of their South Florida offices into a new single location at 2800 West Oakland Park Blvd., Suite 205-B in Oakland Park, Florida. The new location opened in September 2017. Both prior locations in North Miami and Hollywood have closed. The new office, located 1 mile west of the I-95 Oakland Park Blvd. exit, is conveniently located to serve Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. 

Burt Borkan and Basil Papanastassiou, owners of the company, help clients overcome a variety of issues including fears and phobias, anxiousness, anger, bad habits, as well as working to improve sports performance and more. They have also had doctors refer patients to them for issues such as depression and emotionally-based medical ailments such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome. In most cases, clients who tried traditional methods with little or no success are able to overcome years of negative issues in just two sessions. Clients from all over the world have sought them out for their abilities to achieve rapid permanent changes.

Complementary Mental Health Therapies Center Expands to Broward County

The company, founded in 2002, has opened a second office at 3475 Sheridan Street in Hollywood to provide services for Broward County residents. The original office continues to operate at 12000 Biscayne Blvd. for Miami-Dade County residents. Burt Borkan and Basil Papanastassiou, owners of the company, help clients overcome fears and phobias, anxiety, anger, depression and bad habits, as well as emotionally-based medical ailments such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Burt began his career in finance, eventually joining Neuromed, a multi-million dollar international business dedicated to the manufacture, development and sale of implantable neurostimulator devices for chronic pain control. Burt became fascinated with how the mind works and pursued his interest, learning advanced therapies of the mind. Basil’s former career was as a senior divisional VP responsible for $38 million in sales. In spite of successfully turning his division around in terms of profitability and customer credibility, he suffered a deep depression and only found relief via advanced mind therapy. He now uses his knowledge and training in complementary advanced mind therapies to help others.

Owner/Practitioner Biographies

Burt Borkan, co-owner of The Two Session SolutionSM, has always had an interest in hypnosis and the capabilities of the mind. He began exploring the field eight years ago as an amateur and discovered his natural abilities allowed him to help many people make positive changes in their lives. Burt earned a degree in Finance in 1980 and worked for a number of companies doing accounting and finance work. Burt's brother Bill founded a medical device company in 1980 developing and selling implantable devices for the treatment of chronic pain and other issues. Burt joined the company in 1988, eventually becoming Executive Vice-President. The brothers guided the company to become a multi-million dollar international business with over 70 local employees and product sales in the United States, Europe, Canada and through a wholly-owned subsidiary in Australia. The brothers sold the company in 1995 for in excess of $30 million and immediately co-founded a new company which bought and managed two large office buildings as well as developing new products for the medical and non-medical markets. Burt decided to change careers and began doing hypnosis full-time in 2001, receiving certification trainings in advanced methods of the mind, including Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy®, Hypnosis and Huna. Burt also continued working with his brother on other projects, including building and managing a luxury shopping center on the Big Island of Hawaii which was sold in 2017.

Basil Papanastassiou, co-owner of The Two Session SolutionSM, holds both a BA and MBA. His most recent assignment prior to forming The Two Session SolutionSM was working for a multi- national financial services company. He was promoted to Senior Vice President and sent to London, England to turn around a failing $38 million division. In one year, he not only turned the division around by returning it to record profitability but he also restored the company’s credibility with customers and employee morale. During this time, however, he found himself with a growing depression. When asked to take over as global head of product management, he resigned due to “burnout. Basil was diagnosed with clinical depression. Traditional “talk” therapy and anti-depressants had no effect and he became suicidal. A friend took him to meet a practitioner of advanced therapies including Time Line Therapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Those methods eliminated the depression in just two sessions and Basil decided to pursue complementary mental health as a new career. Using his business experience combined with training and certification in Time Line Therapy®, Hypnosis, NLP and Huna, he now helps others deal with and overcome a myriad of issues. He also is certified in Sports Hypnosis to help people improve their game and workouts.
